Hi there, and thanks for visiting our page! Gwen and Iris here, better known as Team Gwiris. We are besties and co-authors of The Kindergarten Effect. We are both single women in the dating pool, trying to find our happily-ever-after in today’s digital dating world. We are, as fate would have it, Cupid’s red-headed step children. You know, the ones that whatever power you believe in, strongly felt that we were not ready to be someone’s better half, yet. So here we are almost past our prime, freaking the fuck out because now our friends are onto their second or third children while we’re here swiping our lives away. Our book is a compilation of our true dating stories on our journey through online dating.  The Kindergarten Effect is a humorous, real time docu-drama showcasing a dating epidemic not yet documented in the media; describing how although online dating provides endless possibilities; it also has the unsuspecting power to deter you from your original set convictions. The goal of settling down and starting a family can easily be overtaken by non-committal playfulness all too easily. You temporarily chuck your morals into an area of your brain we call Th Fuckit Bucket and play. You replace your usual good judgement with a hey-you-never-know mentality and ignore the red flags that are waving at you with the speed of a rave strobe light in the event that this person may be The One.
